this is an older, uncompromisingly raw take of my early spirit..
when I first started getting back into the music arts, I was doing everything myself (still am, although there has been special guests, one handling the mixing and mastering as well as the bass, for example).. the recording, to the whatever it is really. around 8 years I had zero merit of release. no way to 'jam' with the/a band anymore. just an acoustic guitar, which I never took lessons for or anything like that. I just picked it up and let it haunt through me, since it was so, damn .. loud inside of me. I couldn't handle it most of the time, so I would write them out (the Haunts.. or constant music I 'hear' in my head constantly. would be lucky if it changed to a different, weeks long tune a whole lot sooner) in word form, whether that be lyrical or poetry, maybe both.. sometimes I just write whatever out, but it has to resonate that tune haunt I was 'hearing' for awhile, so that way when I read the words again, the music starts to come back to me. like a map in a way..
which leads to this little release, a lot of me was so built up that when I started the recording processes, it would sift and blow out in bleeding fashion often.. have you ever seen a shaked up can of soda pop, opened and just it freaking explodes, well it was like that a bit. so much inside that I was never thinking about what I was doing in the technical field. honing the sounds had to happen over time, so you may notice a difference to several degrees when viewing the older releases. .
ambience is a huge part of my purpose as well.
